I aspire to these romantic words along with my passion for colour.

My work often reflects my own personal experiences and is like a journey, often rewarding and sometimes challenging. My work comes from my surroundings and the spiritual connections within this. One of the things I love about colour is that it can go from vibrant to mute in a blink of an eye. I use fabric, paper, maps, paint, stitch, embellishments and found objects to create textural surfaces and convey a spiritual sense of place. I love the journey of exploration that each new piece of work lays open to me.
